Finally submitted one shirt design :D

Okie Dokie
After I had been planning it for a while I finally submitted one shirt design to threadless.
I always wanted to make some designs into shirts. It's my very first time trying this. I have to say even though I am not standing in front of several people making a presentation about my design it is still a little nerve wracking to know what people have to say about. Please be kind hehehe.
It is a simple design but fun :D I had fun working on it it was an idea that just randomly popped in my head at the spur of the moment. At least this time my idea didn't pop up while I was showering. For some reason most of my ideas come while I shower or when I am fast asleep and suddenly something comes to mind and wakes me up and I have to write it down.
Well here is the link to my Happy Juice Shirt Design. I just need for my design to be approved and then for people who see it to vote whether they like it or not. Anybody can vote so feel free to take a look if you like :D

This song never gets old its awesome

David Hall's Alice in Wonderland

Today one of my friend's sent me a picture text of 2 copies of the original concept art illustrations made by David Hall for the animated version of Alice in Wonderland. I had only heard of David Hall by name but had never seen his artwork until now.
I did a little research on David Hall and did not find much on him aside from what is written on here. Pretty much the only thing i found out about these illustrations were that they were made in 1939 and Walt Disney decided to go by Mary Blair's illustrations.

The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland has since childhood been one my favorite stories of all time. The first time I ever heard of Alice in Wonderland of course was from Disney then later learned about the books. Who can forget Disney's animated version of Alice. Even though the animated version made by Disney doesn't follow all to well the original story it has its own flare to it. The use of color and designs based on Mary's Blair's color concepts makes it enjoyable to watch.

I wonder if Tim Burton used David Hall's storyboards and illustrations as reference for his version of Alice in Wonderland.

Well Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland I really loved it had a lot of use of color and design and along with the dark concept as the books meant it to be.
Hmm apparently in 1986 there was a printed version of Hall's illustrations along with the story.

would have liked to own this book it has some really great storyboard drawings. I found some pictures taken from the book in someones Flickr page.

The unbirthday song in Disney's animated version of Alice in Wonderland

you just can't go wrong with Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp woo...
My Johnny Depp Movie collection is growing I have added 2 more Johnny films to my collection Crybaby and Benny and Joon. Crybaby was the first film that Johnny made where all his roles after that were of that strange nature and Benny and Joon one of his best movies ever.

I had never watched the entire movie of crybaby until I bought it. I didn't remember anything of it since I the time I had watched it I was pretty young so when I did finally end up watching it it was a complete surprise.

Wow that movie is so strange its awesome.
It makes me think in a way its some weird twisted version of Grease yet it is not based on Grease. It's one of those movies that you must see rather than to read or hear from someone to tell you about.

Benny and Joon is a pretty cute movie and since the first time I watched it as a kid I loved it. Finally many years later I own it and took me a while to find it (I don't really do online shopping). Of course it is also one of those partially strange but that only makes the movie better.

It also has some pretty creative was of cleaning and cooking. Anyone who has seen it probably remembers how he makes grilled cheese...Got to say that is pretty awesome.

Well basically any movie whether its good or bad if Johnny Depp comes out in it only makes it better :D He is nice to look at and has a pretty good acting skills.

Since I couldn't link the actual video of the song....Here is 500 miles by the Proclaimers the soundtrack song to Benny and Joon

My World Cup Fever has ended or has it? *dun dun dun*

World Cup season has ended last sunday to be exact. For an entire month my daily schedule revolved around the world cup...yep I would wake up at 5am to watch most of the time to start watching the games. I almost saw all the games 64 games with the exception of few because waking up at 5am was to hard to do everyday. None of the teams I was cheering for won but it was nice to see that a new country managed to win the World Cup. And yep even though the competition is over I am already making plans for the next one in 4 years :D ...well more like I have ideas. I am planning to save up so I can go for 2 weeks to Brazil and at least to go see 2 games :D...hopefully I'll be able to go :D or at least if I don't get to go to the games at least just to go to Brazil and watch the games there. Well if I start saving now it will be possible to go. Some dreams do come true if you work hard.

It's a week late to write this ...should have written this sooner but anyways
Congratulations Spain for winning the World Cup your hard work paid off....and Paul was right

The bidding for the 2018/2022 World Cup has began it actually started early last year. The US is in the running and in the FIFA website there is a list of the countries that are in the running to host the World Cup. If anybody who reads my blog is interested in signing the bid to host the World Cup in the US there is a website you can go to and sign. The website is official and has been announced even on the tv the site is Go USA Bid I am not sure for how long this will go on but if you are interested then you can visit the site that I have provided the link to.
