Dancing Assasins

I have seen many movies from many different countries. I have seen French, English, Irish, Italian, Indian, of course American, Korean, Chinese, Mexican, Spanish, and Japanese (not sure why I went on to write them all down haha) films and I have to say the ones that I have enjoyed the most aside from American films of course are Korean films.
Yesterday I watched a film called The Duelist. It is a Korean film from 2005 yeah wow I thought it was a fantastic movie. In itself some parts are a little confusing but other than that the way it was filmed the cinematography, the choreographed swordplay scenes, and the story as well was really good at least in my opinion.

Wow I am the most impressed with the swordplay... the fights in the film were choreographed in a way that it was like dancing....they were beautifully done. The costumes the way they moved only enhanced on the beauty of the scenes.
this video is one of the scenes...there are a couple others that were even more amazing

It is one movie I recommend to see. If you don't like Ninja Assassin because there is so much blood then this one is the one to see. Ninja Assassin has some pretty awesome fight scenes but at least to my personal taste too much blood it practically rains blood in that movie ( lol it must be because the actor's name is Rain hahaha). The Duelist in a way is more of love story to a certain extent (ok not really its not the basis of the story it's in a certain way they romanticize the idea of being an assassin and its not the main point of the story) and well it is Korean unlike Ninja Assassin they are from a Japanese Clan. Well I am not even sure why I am even comparing both of them. I am just rambling on.
Yeah I just wanted to share that I saw that movie hahaha

anyways here is a video in the spirit of watching the movie
I think this is a song from the soundtrack well if not there are scenes from the fil

BUNNIES LAY EGGS?! WHAT?!

We are currently in the season of Lent. For Christians such as myself...well to be more technical I am Catholic...This is a period of 40 days in which we mourn and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Now the question is why Easter Bunnies laying eggs?!
For many years I pondered this and now I feel the need to write about it haha
Many Christian Holidays became very commercialized such as Easter, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Christmas are now not just celebrated by Christians but by so many others. Yes and many have forgotten the real meaning of these holidays to a certain extent. Isn't celebrating a Christian holiday by non-Christians sacrilegious to their own religion?
well.... there is also the fact that these Christian holidays have been mixed with pagan and mythological characters and events.
Valentine's is mixed with the Roman and Greek god of love Eros/Cupid (Saint Valentine is actually not even associated with love), Easter with Rabbits and eggs representing fertility and Vernal Equinox, Christmas with Roman celebration of Winter Solstice and mistletoe with Norse mythology relating to the God Loki (the part of giving Christmas gifts is true to Christianity celebrating Saint Nicholas who was a person that liked to give out gifts), St. Patrick's Day (Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland who would wear a four leaf clover)..well that one is probably the one that is not mixed with any pagan not mythological events (at least that I know of) but it is majorly commercialized according to the way the Irish celebrate it as the day to wear green and drink alcohol.
I am guilty of celebrating without thinking about celebrating the life of the saint..... I do like my St. Patrick's day :D
hahaha I was only going to write about bunnies laying eggs and I ended bringing up other holidays...well it goes hand in hand addressing that issue it can't be avoided. I basically just spewed out what I was thinking without organizing it. Hopefully it makes sense.
I believe I can write an entire book about this hahaha right know I just briefly touched upon the subject. I find this interesting and possibly later on I could go into more research...maybe...yeah I am just a very curious person if something calls my attention I investigate. I like to learn new things and satisfy my curiosity.
ok here is a random comment hahaha I really want to eat meat right now hahaha *sigh* since it's lent I made my sacrifice as well as making the sacrifice of not eating meat on Fridays. It's a bit saddening the fact that when you can't do a specific thing it's the time when u want to do it the most.

ok I'll end my entry here before it gets any longer.

and like every entry here is a video if U2 and Irish band whose lead singer is an amazing person. This is the video for Beautiful Day
