Because I can't remember what I was going to Write Let's talk about Mary Blair :)

Mary Blair is actually one of my favorite artists so even though this is not what I had originally planned on writing since my brain has posted a sign saying "Will be fully operation by Nov. 22 running on 50% power", I actually don't mind dedicating a post dedicated to her.
Mary Blair was an amazing artist best know to have worked for Walt Disney. She was a painter with great talent and vision she could tell a story using color to it's full advantage. Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Three Caballeros were only 4 of the projects she worked on. She created the concept art in which you can see how greatly it influenced the films she worked on.
Of course how can anyone forget as well Mary Blair was the designer for the ride we know today Small World in Disneyland in California.
Mary Blair liked to use vibrant and a great amount of colors in her works. Once you see her paintings you can pretty much see which Disney films and shorts she worked on during he time at Disney.
She was an amazing artist who left a legacy at Disney for all time. This is a link to two shorts that she worked on if you scroll towards the bottom you will see the storyboards for Susie and Little House.

I just had a birthday this past Friday. I have reached the age that I feared for ages D: We at least I am still in my still in my 2os but you know after 21 there really isn't other things to look forward excitedly. At 15 or 16 you look forward to being acknowledge as a young adult; at 18 you get to buy your lotto ticket, vote and buy cigarettes legally and at 21 you get to be able to to to over 21 places and drink alcohol legally after that it's just all about having to worry about money and how do you plan to live the rest of your life whether getting married or staying single or having kids or not...Well there are other things to look forward to everyday there is a surprise. I guess it's just living day by day and welcoming surprises that may come.
hahaha yeah I shouldn't be so negative about that #
Life is full of surprises.
So within the end of this week....well hoping I finish by the end of tomorrow or Thursday I will actually be posting something I actually created....well based on something that was previously created by someone else. :o shocking!
hahaha since I am not confident at all in my artistic abilities even though I did study animation but technically I have always liked more as I've said the production part of it...anyways I will be posting it up and hopefully later on I will post more of my creations up in the future haha......yeah I hope I do.
hahaha anyways what I am making right now is a geeky lol but cute. ..... hahaha and yeah its fan art but it is fun to make it just for the sheer of making something.
I feel all shy writing about it lol.

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans day of course I cannot forget to write a message to our troops and Veterans.

I would like to say Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for risking your lives to defend our country. We are truly blessed to have people like you that love this country and fight for it. May God bless you and your families.
And for all the active soldiers my prayers are with you.

I'm Back

WOW IT HAS REALLY BEEN A LONG WHILE ....HAHA I NEGLECTED MY BLOG

So I my hand is fully recovered now. Yep I've been continuing to work on artsy stuff and the never ending job hunt. Nothing new there. hahahaha I've been re teaching myself how to watercolor again...it's getting there. I am also working on a couple of designs for costumes a photo shoot that my friend is organizing. Yeah it's a bit challenging but fun especially since it is something new that I am trying out.
Yeah.......
So I like to watch movies from different parts of the world and tv shows is the same thing as well as music. Yep Yep I do have my two American shows that I love Heroes and HOUSE of course and which as well I don't miss lol if I do I watch them online later; but yep I have the Korean drama that I am watching as well....It's almost over :( it only will have 16 episodes. Anyways right now I am a little obsessed with a Korean drama called You're Beautiful it's a bit of a teeny bopper drama I guess but it's cute and funny every episode makes me laugh pretty hard. My friend Ana (I will refer to her as Captain Banana in this blog in the future just cause its funny :D) and I watch it diligently :D we watch it when it first comes out and then we later read the recap of the episode which posted here since we don't understand Korean and later when the episode is subbed we watch it one more time :D
Captain Banana and I already have the ost and we are waiting for the pigrabbit plushie and pog like things and stickers to come out hahaha yeah we are a little crazy lol but we have fun with it.

YAY I CAN CAN TYPE AGAIN WITH BOTH HANDS WITHOUT PAIN!!.....sorta

IT'S BEEN A WHILE :D
I CAN FINALLY TYPE WITH BOTH HANDS...sorta still have not healed completely. It was quite a pain to only be able to use one hand :D
why did I have pain in one hand? I must blame it on my clumbsiness :D
So I had been using an x-acto blade to cut some decorations for the birthday cards I was working on and I decided to take a little break. I started talking to my brother and of course I did the thing that you should never do fiddle with the blade...my brother told me put that down or you are going to get hurt....yep not even a second later I stabbed my hand with the blade. I poked a nerve in my hand which yeah was so extremely painful...the cut in itself was not big but it was quite deep to the point of reaching my nerve.

So it's November already :D ....yeah this had taken me a while to post ...after I stopped writing on my blog I got a little lazy to update it :D...I am back now and I will update more often now :D

Dirty Dancing

Patrick Swayze has ended his battle with pancreatic cancer today. He has died at the at of 57. Who can forget those dance moves from Dirty Dancing and that lovable ghost from Ghost. He fought hard and had the will to live and he will be greatly missed. Even when producer attempted to recreate in some way Dirty Dancing it failed. Patrick was an amazing actor. May he rest in peace.

Smokey

All is grey outside :/
There is a good amount of smoke outside you can't even see the blue sky; it is better than yesterday and the day before though.
Fires several times every sigh...we will eventually run out of vegetation in the mountain areas because of multiple fires that happen during the summer.

It did not cross my mind to take pictures the rest of the days
but this last one is of today.


About 2 days ago the air was quite thick with smoke that when a hawk was flying in circles in not a low altitude the was hawk was at times not visible.



:D on a brighter note I am super excited about the photography project as days go by and and looking for reference I have gotten several ideas for some costume designs and locations. I am currently working on them. Today I am working on a design for one of the themes that we are going to do which is a circus :D I got an idea for the knife thrower and the assistant :D now I just need to get it on paper hahaha. Hopefully I can draw it out.
