sadness we are a week away from Christmas and I have gotten sick. I still have things to prepare and food to prepare for that day. I have sneeze attacks and a runny nose sore throat and watery eyes and of course I have no energy. Just making my bed this morning (well more like the afternoon ha I stayed in bed for a while sudafed makes me sleepy) felt like it was the most difficult thing to do. Good thing I haven't gotten a fever. Ugh I was planning to go out with some friends tomorrow but I might have to take a rain check. Ugh I hate my immune system it's kinda weak I get sick pretty often.

Oh I'm tired.
It's been a long day and week.
Christmas is coming up so it's time for preparations which have been keeping me busy and now that there is going to be an extra guest in the house for a while it doesn't help.
Well it has finally started raining it's a nice change.
And that damned virus is still i managed to find it but I don't know how to access that place it tells me access denied since its where all the system recovery files are. I emailed Windows and they were supposed to email me back withing 24 hrs but they never did :/ I am going to have to email them again or find another way.
Ugh so many things to say and I can't remember lol well at least at this moment.
Yeah I feel a little overwhelmed.

Computer Viruses

Ugh why do people create computer viruses. I really see no point to it. I spent half my day yesterday getting rid of a virus on my computer and in which I thought I had succeseded ( that doesn't look like the correct way to spell that word ha) but just discovered it's still there and I am annoyed.
Seriously what is the point? Just to make money or mess with someone you don't like are not very good excuses. Well in general there are no excuses, no reason to create them. I give you props you guys are smart you have the knowledge and the imagination to make them why not use that to make something more useful. I mean come on don't you want to show off how creative you can be without worrying that you might end up in jail. Look at these things for example, someone Japan created a cell phone camera lense. Someone created a waterproof key chain vocabulary book (actually I am starting to think this waterproof vocabulary book is pretty neat especially since I'm willing to learn more languages I can write down my vocab on it and not have to worry about it if there is water around since I am pretty clumbsy) and a air conditioner spray that is useful when you go out and it's really hot. Ok these might not be the most awesome and impressive inventions but they are creative and useful to people who use it. The point is that it's a better your for your imagination and knowledge.
So come on people show the world what better things you can think off :D
sigh now to continue trying to get rid of that sucker.

WWPRD?

I've have said it before in a previous post that I am currently a bit obsessed with a Korean drama....well more than a bit haha.
And well since part of my personality is to analyze things no matter how stupid they are if it's something that catches my interest then I will analyze.
Anyways the plushie that is featured in the drama caught my eye well not just my eye it caught the eyes of many cause it's super cute. It's called pig rabbit.



I started thinking what if they really did exist a pig rabbit.
How would a pig-rabbit live?
How would a pig-rabbit look like?
What would it eat? What rabbits eat or what pigs eat or eat something entirely different like meat?
Would it be furry or hairless?
WWPRD? (in case you don't get it it's What Would Pig-Rabbit Do? :D)



Then I started thinking by the way it was created in the drama You're Beautiful...since generally the dominant part would be mentioned first in the I would say species name. What I mean since technically that plushie is mainly a rabbit whose nose is a pig's wouldn't it be then rabbit-pig and not pig-rabbit?
It's like saying killer whales are white and black when they are black and white since black is the dominant color. Or does it come down to the philosophical question is the glass half full or half empty?

hahaha yeah I just wanted to post this cause I thought it was funny to start thinking about this. hahaha this types of things are not the only type of things I start analyzing just to let everyone who reads this know haha.

Because I can't remember what I was going to Write Let's talk about Mary Blair :)

Mary Blair is actually one of my favorite artists so even though this is not what I had originally planned on writing since my brain has posted a sign saying "Will be fully operation by Nov. 22 running on 50% power", I actually don't mind dedicating a post dedicated to her.
Mary Blair was an amazing artist best know to have worked for Walt Disney. She was a painter with great talent and vision she could tell a story using color to it's full advantage. Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Three Caballeros were only 4 of the projects she worked on. She created the concept art in which you can see how greatly it influenced the films she worked on.
Of course how can anyone forget as well Mary Blair was the designer for the ride we know today Small World in Disneyland in California.
Mary Blair liked to use vibrant and a great amount of colors in her works. Once you see her paintings you can pretty much see which Disney films and shorts she worked on during he time at Disney.
She was an amazing artist who left a legacy at Disney for all time. This is a link to two shorts that she worked on if you scroll towards the bottom you will see the storyboards for Susie and Little House.

I just had a birthday this past Friday. I have reached the age that I feared for ages D: We at least I am still in my still in my 2os but you know after 21 there really isn't other things to look forward excitedly. At 15 or 16 you look forward to being acknowledge as a young adult; at 18 you get to buy your lotto ticket, vote and buy cigarettes legally and at 21 you get to be able to to to over 21 places and drink alcohol legally after that it's just all about having to worry about money and how do you plan to live the rest of your life whether getting married or staying single or having kids or not...Well there are other things to look forward to everyday there is a surprise. I guess it's just living day by day and welcoming surprises that may come.
hahaha yeah I shouldn't be so negative about that #
Life is full of surprises.
So within the end of this week....well hoping I finish by the end of tomorrow or Thursday I will actually be posting something I actually created....well based on something that was previously created by someone else. :o shocking!
hahaha since I am not confident at all in my artistic abilities even though I did study animation but technically I have always liked more as I've said the production part of it...anyways I will be posting it up and hopefully later on I will post more of my creations up in the future haha......yeah I hope I do.
hahaha anyways what I am making right now is a geeky lol but cute. ..... hahaha and yeah its fan art but it is fun to make it just for the sheer of making something.
I feel all shy writing about it lol.

Veterans Day

Today is Veterans day of course I cannot forget to write a message to our troops and Veterans.

I would like to say Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for risking your lives to defend our country. We are truly blessed to have people like you that love this country and fight for it. May God bless you and your families.
And for all the active soldiers my prayers are with you.

I'm Back

WOW IT HAS REALLY BEEN A LONG WHILE ....HAHA I NEGLECTED MY BLOG

So I my hand is fully recovered now. Yep I've been continuing to work on artsy stuff and the never ending job hunt. Nothing new there. hahahaha I've been re teaching myself how to watercolor again...it's getting there. I am also working on a couple of designs for costumes a photo shoot that my friend is organizing. Yeah it's a bit challenging but fun especially since it is something new that I am trying out.
Yeah.......
So I like to watch movies from different parts of the world and tv shows is the same thing as well as music. Yep Yep I do have my two American shows that I love Heroes and HOUSE of course and which as well I don't miss lol if I do I watch them online later; but yep I have the Korean drama that I am watching as well....It's almost over :( it only will have 16 episodes. Anyways right now I am a little obsessed with a Korean drama called You're Beautiful it's a bit of a teeny bopper drama I guess but it's cute and funny every episode makes me laugh pretty hard. My friend Ana (I will refer to her as Captain Banana in this blog in the future just cause its funny :D) and I watch it diligently :D we watch it when it first comes out and then we later read the recap of the episode which posted here since we don't understand Korean and later when the episode is subbed we watch it one more time :D
Captain Banana and I already have the ost and we are waiting for the pigrabbit plushie and pog like things and stickers to come out hahaha yeah we are a little crazy lol but we have fun with it.

IT'S BEEN A WHILE :D
I CAN FINALLY TYPE WITH BOTH HANDS...sorta still have not healed completely. It was quite a pain to only be able to use one hand :D
why did I have pain in one hand? I must blame it on my clumbsiness :D
So I had been using an x-acto blade to cut some decorations for the birthday cards I was working on and I decided to take a little break. I started talking to my brother and of course I did the thing that you should never do fiddle with the blade...my brother told me put that down or you are going to get hurt....yep not even a second later I stabbed my hand with the blade. I poked a nerve in my hand which yeah was so extremely painful...the cut in itself was not big but it was quite deep to the point of reaching my nerve.

So it's November already :D ....yeah this had taken me a while to post ...after I stopped writing on my blog I got a little lazy to update it :D...I am back now and I will update more often now :D

Dirty Dancing

Patrick Swayze has ended his battle with pancreatic cancer today. He has died at the at of 57. Who can forget those dance moves from Dirty Dancing and that lovable ghost from Ghost. He fought hard and had the will to live and he will be greatly missed. Even when producer attempted to recreate in some way Dirty Dancing it failed. Patrick was an amazing actor. May he rest in peace.

Smokey

All is grey outside :/
There is a good amount of smoke outside you can't even see the blue sky; it is better than yesterday and the day before though.
Fires several times every sigh...we will eventually run out of vegetation in the mountain areas because of multiple fires that happen during the summer.

It did not cross my mind to take pictures the rest of the days
but this last one is of today.


About 2 days ago the air was quite thick with smoke that when a hawk was flying in circles in not a low altitude the was hawk was at times not visible.



:D on a brighter note I am super excited about the photography project as days go by and and looking for reference I have gotten several ideas for some costume designs and locations. I am currently working on them. Today I am working on a design for one of the themes that we are going to do which is a circus :D I got an idea for the knife thrower and the assistant :D now I just need to get it on paper hahaha. Hopefully I can draw it out.

:O It has been quite a while since I have posted anything.
Well there hasn't been much to really say.
It is pretty hot right now I can say.
Since once again there are fires the smoke once again fills the air and heats of the areas around the fires more. So there is one main fire going on which is the Angeles Mountains fire and it is by Sylmar. I live quite far away from Sylmar maybe about 40 mins away and I guess that fire is that big that the smoke from that fire has reached the area of where I live :o
I am complaining right now about it being hot and my allergies acting up but I think I shouldn't since the people around the area are most likely suffering more and especially the animals.

Woo so I am a soccer fan as I said before but only watch for the world cup...there are just too many teams to watch for the regular games...
anyways I can't wait for the next game for the eliminations to see who goes for the world cup. :D the Next game is on the 5th of the September Mexico will play against Costa Rica and the US against El Salvador.
Last game which I missed :( Mexico once again played against U.S. and it Mexico won with 2 points.
I like the U.S. team of course but right now I am rooting more for Mexico :D....
I wonder how the other teams are doing :o wow cause the European teams are awesome.



This weather aahhh! Good thing I don't live in Arizona hahaha

Bored

Sigh I am a bit bored
I have things to do but I feel sleep. I am actually working on some things but today since I have been feeling tired I have not really accomplished much as you can see I am writing in my blog instead of working :D
Well I did get a lot of ideas from what I saw from Comic Con so I am excited to start working on those ideas but not right now haha a little later I'll force myself.

Post Comic Con

I am still tired from my trip to San Diego for Comic Con. Comic Con I have to say was pretty awesome I didn't get to see all I wanted but at least this year I got to get in to the heroes panel unlike last year. I left on Thursday and was in San Diego till Monday. I have to say that I am glad my friends and I arrived to Comic Con after the Twilight panel because I did not want to be in the middle of the crazy obsessed Twilight fans that go a little too over board. Well it was a a good weekend with huge crowds all around wearing costumes and seeing all the great stuff. I got to see Stan Lee twice only a couple of feet away but sadly I did not get a chance to take a picture. I as well saw the creator of Batman and the original Batman from the live action series of the 60s Adam West. As much of a fan that I am of Johnny Depp I did not get to see him. At first I was a little bummed about it but then I just told myself well he was only on stage for about 2 mins so it's alright I'll hopefully have other opportunities to see him again. Hanyo Miyazaki was there at Comic Con and I missed my opportunity as well :( I would have tried to go see him but I woke up kinda late to go get in line for it and was suffering from a bit of a hangover :D
Hopefully I get the opportunity to once to be able to at least see from afar one of the great animators alive Miyazaki.
As I said I got to see the cast of heroes!!!!!
YAY!!!!!!! I love that show so it was awesome to go see them and the nice thing was is that I we were somewhat close to the stage...well to the point where I could see them without needing to stare at the screen the entire time. I think I have to say that seeing the cast of heroes and seeing Adam West and the creator of Batman was the highlight of my trip.....OH YEAH AND THE FACT THE MEXICO WON THE GOLD CUP IN SOCCER.
I some some trekies at Comic con which it was a little odd since Comic Con is more of a Star Wars area...well they did have their tiny booth still they don't beat Star Wars wooo!!
Of course aside of Comic Con my friends and I went to go see the semi final game for Mexico at a bar because the hotel did not have the channel where the game was going to be broadcast. Yep since on Thursday they won the semi my friends and I ended up drinking a bit an d explains the hangover on Friday. Sunday we ended up going to a restaurant that was quite a bit of a walk especially for me...woo since I sent both my friends ahead because I wanted to buy a shirt for my bro before they ran out of the sizes that I needed I ended up walking to the place with the wrong directions because the stupid navigator system the address that was sent to me was wrong error of the navigator. I ended up walking farther and afterward I had to find the actual place i was totally fried in the heat....but still it was worth it to see Mexico beat the US 5 to 0.
I do love the US soccer team but I had been rooting for Mexico to win.

YAY COMIC CON HERE I COME
:D on Thursday I head out to San Diego for comic con and will be back by Monday. I feel a little guilty going because I have bills that need to be paid urgently and I'm taking off for a little vacation and fun time. Well I can't help it I bought my ticket last year and hotel reservations were made in January. Oh well not going to spend money besides food thank god for subway :D

of course you are at comic con one you see those security guards dressed and storm troopers and see so many booths with comic art and artists selling their stuff and all those ppl dressed up as their favorite superheroes :D
Woo this year I will dress up and I am excited hahaha. One of my friends has created a bat girl outfit for me and she has made herself and poison Ivy outfit and made for another friend accompanying us for the first time a Harley Quinn outfit. It's going to be so much fun

I attempted to see what I would look like as bat girl using my batman photo editing program :D as you can I was unsucessful :D mainly bc it only has clip art from the Dark Knight go figure.
