Twitter

Yep back to writing on here after a long while. I can't even remember when was the last time I wrote here or what I wrote about. I didn't bother to check either I just came straight to post a new entry.
Oh man so I have a twitter account now....well I think I had it for a couple of months but never really used it till now. haha I began to see how many celebrities have a twitter and use it and so I added some....hahaha I found it neat haha it feels like I am a step closer to meeting them. It is interesting the things they write and amusing when they are utterly random. Randomness is awesome. I have a friend who is from the other side of the world so our communication is mostly by e-mails but I found her on twitter and its awesome I can send her a message and she will gets it by getting an alert on her phone and she can respond to me right away. It is awesome it's like sending a txt message to another country...well I guess it is while using a 3rd party and free of charge with unlimited txt plan :D
The only problem is that there is a 16 hr difference so the only time to be able to message each other would be starting around midnight here until I go to sleep which is like 1 or 2 am. lol I guess my only excitement about twitter is being able to communicate with her in real time... oh and since I suffer a lot from insomnia I can just write a message to my page and not bother anyone unless they set their phones up to receive messages that I write at anytime.

OH YES TODAY IS CINCO DE MAYO!
Since I am part Mexican and damn proud of it! I say

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

in honor of Cinco De Mayo here is a traditional song called De Colores

Dancing Assasins

I have seen many movies from many different countries. I have seen French, English, Irish, Italian, Indian, of course American, Korean, Chinese, Mexican, Spanish, and Japanese (not sure why I went on to write them all down haha) films and I have to say the ones that I have enjoyed the most aside from American films of course are Korean films.
Yesterday I watched a film called The Duelist. It is a Korean film from 2005 yeah wow I thought it was a fantastic movie. In itself some parts are a little confusing but other than that the way it was filmed the cinematography, the choreographed swordplay scenes, and the story as well was really good at least in my opinion.

Wow I am the most impressed with the swordplay... the fights in the film were choreographed in a way that it was like dancing....they were beautifully done. The costumes the way they moved only enhanced on the beauty of the scenes.
this video is one of the scenes...there are a couple others that were even more amazing

It is one movie I recommend to see. If you don't like Ninja Assassin because there is so much blood then this one is the one to see. Ninja Assassin has some pretty awesome fight scenes but at least to my personal taste too much blood it practically rains blood in that movie ( lol it must be because the actor's name is Rain hahaha). The Duelist in a way is more of love story to a certain extent (ok not really its not the basis of the story it's in a certain way they romanticize the idea of being an assassin and its not the main point of the story) and well it is Korean unlike Ninja Assassin they are from a Japanese Clan. Well I am not even sure why I am even comparing both of them. I am just rambling on.
Yeah I just wanted to share that I saw that movie hahaha

anyways here is a video in the spirit of watching the movie
I think this is a song from the soundtrack well if not there are scenes from the fil

BUNNIES LAY EGGS?! WHAT?!

We are currently in the season of Lent. For Christians such as myself...well to be more technical I am Catholic...This is a period of 40 days in which we mourn and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Now the question is why Easter Bunnies laying eggs?!
For many years I pondered this and now I feel the need to write about it haha
Many Christian Holidays became very commercialized such as Easter, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Christmas are now not just celebrated by Christians but by so many others. Yes and many have forgotten the real meaning of these holidays to a certain extent. Isn't celebrating a Christian holiday by non-Christians sacrilegious to their own religion?
well.... there is also the fact that these Christian holidays have been mixed with pagan and mythological characters and events.
Valentine's is mixed with the Roman and Greek god of love Eros/Cupid (Saint Valentine is actually not even associated with love), Easter with Rabbits and eggs representing fertility and Vernal Equinox, Christmas with Roman celebration of Winter Solstice and mistletoe with Norse mythology relating to the God Loki (the part of giving Christmas gifts is true to Christianity celebrating Saint Nicholas who was a person that liked to give out gifts), St. Patrick's Day (Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland who would wear a four leaf clover)..well that one is probably the one that is not mixed with any pagan not mythological events (at least that I know of) but it is majorly commercialized according to the way the Irish celebrate it as the day to wear green and drink alcohol.
I am guilty of celebrating without thinking about celebrating the life of the saint..... I do like my St. Patrick's day :D
hahaha I was only going to write about bunnies laying eggs and I ended bringing up other holidays...well it goes hand in hand addressing that issue it can't be avoided. I basically just spewed out what I was thinking without organizing it. Hopefully it makes sense.
I believe I can write an entire book about this hahaha right know I just briefly touched upon the subject. I find this interesting and possibly later on I could go into more research...maybe...yeah I am just a very curious person if something calls my attention I investigate. I like to learn new things and satisfy my curiosity.
ok here is a random comment hahaha I really want to eat meat right now hahaha *sigh* since it's lent I made my sacrifice as well as making the sacrifice of not eating meat on Fridays. It's a bit saddening the fact that when you can't do a specific thing it's the time when u want to do it the most.

ok I'll end my entry here before it gets any longer.

and like every entry here is a video if U2 and Irish band whose lead singer is an amazing person. This is the video for Beautiful Day

I'm so bad a keeping this updated.
I feel so bleh right now. I kinda want to jump on my bed and just sleep. It's just one of those days that you don't want to do anything.
So I've been watching the winter Olympics...yep never knew how some of those sports could be so entertaining to watch. Go USA! I scream at the TV...well not really more like I've been screaming in my head while watching them cause then my family starts telling me to keep it down :p
Woooo! so we have !4 medals if you didn't know
So yeah.....
OH I saw Wolfman....it was alright I guess I had higher expectations but it wasn't bad. I am not really one to see limbs flying across the air or guts being ripped out or pools of blood, but aside from that it overall look of the film was interesting.
What else. OH YEAH! GONNA GO EAT KBBQ TOMORROW AGAIN! Yeah kbbq is so good...since lent started sadly I can't eat red meat tomorrow :/ so it will be seafood....that will be interesting I do love shrimp but as bbq I don't know. Well as well gonna meet one of my friends bf lets see how he is.

:/

So it's raining right now.....well not at this particular moment but it has been. It's nice when it rains I just don't like the cold or the thunder that comes along. Wow our climate has really changed to the point of having Tornadoes in California wow. Who would have thought that would happen here....well I guess people have hahaha like in the movie The Day after Tomorrow. I am not sure if my last sentence made any sense. We had had pretty good weather while the rest of the country was freezing now it's our turn. Even though the weather is not as of severe but there are dangers of having mudslides in certain areas because of the previous fires. For those of us who live in LA and have pretty much lived here the entire time and have not experienced any other type of severe weather this is like a catastrophe...ok well not a catastrophe but severe weather it is funny though. Earlier today I was amazed of how hard it was raining and ran to the window to see the rain ha. My mom saw my amazement and she was like you should go to Mexico now there you can be amazed hahaha I think I rather not go to any place where the weather would be extreme I like the weather we have here in LA.
I just noticed the time ha it's almost 8pm.
Anyways yeah I am here at home writing a post instead of doing what I told myself I was going to do. ha after I finish writing here I'll work on the t-shirt design I have in mind. I gave myself a headache thinking of the design hahaha wow that is how much I was using my brain. Hopefully when I finish it I can sell the design to this one site that buys the designs and sells them. The have pretty neat shirts I like the t-shirts from there they have some pretty clever and random designs.

ha I just heard Sum 41 on the radio wow I haven't heard them in a long time. What happened to them lol are they around and I just have been in the dark? lol

The curse of repelling technology

I forgot when but for about 3 weeks I did not have access to the internet due to the power cable of my router dying. For about 3 weeks I couldn't get the reference I needed for a couple of things I am working on ha. This week on Sunday I was able to finally have access to the internet but today the curse continue. Today is Wednesday 3 days after being able to finally use the internet, When I was about to vacuum my room as soon as I turned on the vacuum there was a power outage or so I thought. So I figured it would be back in a while. I walked to the kitchen and saw that there was electricity and that it didn't go out out bc if it would have then the microwave would have gone crazy and would have to reset the time. I walked back to my room and nothing turned on I walked to my parents room and nothing turned on I walked to the bathroom and plugged in the dryer and it did turn on I went to the living room and half of it didn't turn on and the other half did. The ceiling lights all work but half of the plugs in the house don't haha
sigh. Right now I temporarily plugged in the computer using a loooong extension into the bathroom while I print out and apply for a couple of jobs....um yeah I wonder when technology will cooperate with me haha. I think it's a sign that I should start living like the way people live when there wasn't any type of this technology. Back in the days of how Laura Ingalls live in Little House in the Prairie. Sadness

Well It is a bit late But Happy New Year! :D

I was listening to the Blue Album by Weezer in the part of the house you are able to use electricity in ha
